After reading bobs concerns about the rear of the part I have contacted the company again to conferm that this is ok. I had mentioned it to them and sent several photos with dimensions and they didn't seem to be concerned about it and I am waiting their reply.

Any one got a picture of the back face to see if it will lend it's self to vaccum forming as if it needs injection moulding the the cost for the tooling will put it out of reach
Well, it seems like it was a problem... They can not bond on the retaining lugs...

Thanks Bob !
I am currently looking at several alternatives.
1. accept the current vacummed formed outer appearence at £20 a set that is secured only by the fixing screw and has no rear lugs
2. Injection formed product at about £30 a set that would be identical to origional but made slightly thicker to prevent cracking in the future
3. Find a manufacturer that will be able to supply some sort of rear lugs. (probably a Z section to locate 1 or more of what appear to be the 2 locating
positions on the origionals.
4. Look for a manufacturer that can offer an injected moulded part for £20 a set. (awaiting replys from another 24 companies)
5. Look for a vac forming company that can attach rear clips and match origional price of £20 a set. (still awaiting replys from several companies but quotes recieved upto now have been almost as expensive as injection moulding
5. Anyone else want to check to see if they can get it done cheaper locally?
My personal preference would be go with injection moulding as I would have a product that looks like origional but thicker and 20 years newer but may cost upto £30 a set. I know it is a big increase in price and I do not know if I will be able to improve on this as yet.... when I recieve other quotes I will let you know. Worst quote upto now worked out at almost £200 / set !!
Whichever way we go the mould cost is the main expense. If anyone would like a set "just incase theirs had to be removed in the future" then maybe quote as possible (I recently removed 1 that had a crack for a photo and is now in 2 parts

This is still Not comitted to buy. !! I'm just loooking for who would be interested in which product so as I know which avenue to persue....
Not sure what what way to go about gathering peoples opinions?? Moderators please edit post to suit. I would be interested in any option as both mine are now broken.... I'd rather pay a bit more and get an origional looking produce but will be happy to go with the prefered option but would happily accept the other options.
1. Wayne prefered option vac formed upto £30 Option Vac formed £20 no clips. Option: vac formed upto £30 with clips.
