Xmas meal at The Cricketers Arms, Rickling Green - Tues 13th

Postby bobbrown » Wed 14.09.2011, 16:09

Following on from a brief discussion last night re Xmas lunch/dinner who's up for it? Which date?
The Cricketers has accommodation (LINK) so people could stay over or alternatively say at one of the bigger chains (Days Inn to name but one) and combined taxi to the Cricketers.

Time for a list Steve?

I can do any Sunday in December except the 25th, and can also do any Saturday as long as it's the 10th!

As a "suggested date" I (we) can also do the 10th (even if I have a cold, as beer often helps  )

Maybe, but only maybe. I very rarely have a free weekend so can't commit to anything.

Just a suggestion, what about having Christmas lunch on the December Tuesday meet date?

Yep - think we agreed to that :D

Tuesday the 13th it will be then - I've booked a table for 8pm - nos to be confirmed - £10 each deposit to be paid on your behalf and collected by me on the night so if you don't turn up I know where to find you! Will post up menus tomorrow!

Doesn't work for me at all. I may see you all there but I certainly will not be eating any of that.
