Probably stating the blindingly obvious, but the 'experts' over here are predicting a slight recovery in the $, followed by further decline after Christmas; IF they're right, anyone buying at Donington could save a few hundred dollars by purchasing Sterling well in advance.

When I spoke to Simon last he confirmed that there will be no heated rear screen...I don't think it'll be necessary anyway, given the relatively small size of the cockpit.

Sorry for the lull in proceedings, I have been having some trouble with the composite company, but that is sorted now.<br><br>Production of flock lined tops has already been allocated for the next couple of weeks, but I have a carbon fibre lined top available at the moment. Would be interested to know how much this cuts down on the headroom.<br>  <br>Please someone report in on this.  I can report from personal experience, my father having recently owned two Chrysler Tc by Maserati's (which came standard with BOTH tops), the hardtop dramatically cut down on road-noise, like night & day,  making for a true touring-car experience (but I also had to slouch-down in the seat due to the reduction in headroom).  Also the top, made of fibreglass, was a 2-man job to remove due to the weight, although I did do it by myself on a few occasions.<br><br>BTW the top looks great.  Great job Kuching!

Simon<br><br>This is very tempting for a pre-Donington install.  Have you managed to sort out the deformation of the top that occurred when prototype one was flock/baked?<br>Have you made any progress seals-wise?...I know that was another area with which you weren't entirely happy.<br>Don't know whether to hold off for a flocked lid.  What colour flocking is on offer?<br>My offer still stands for the Midlands based assistance that we talked about.  If you fancy offering this carbon interior top as a loss leader, IM me... Which I suppose amounts to a request for first refusal.  8)
