Wedding 18th August Nick & Kim

Postby nicowalker1 » Fri 20.01.2012, 16:59

As a few already know me and Kim are getting married :( on August the 18th, We would love to have a parade of elans from the church to the venue,
What was discussed was to plan a route for an afternoon drive and an afternoon meal then everybody is welcome to the evening do...

Details so far (approx rimes as i cant remember whats has been arranged)

12ish at the church Elland (nr Halifax)
how ever long a wedding takes
30mins drive to Bagden Hall (Denby Dale)
Drive around some nice roads (ill go scouting)
return for food and drink at Bagden Hall

There are loads of hotels within minutes of Bagden Hall all of which are very reasonably priced....

Please let me know if you are interested as we need an idea for numbers.

If I can possibly make it, I'll join in with the "Red Devil".
:burnout:
Will it be like a mega posh Donington convoy? :)

Thanks Nick(& Kim) :-)

Ok back on track! I can let Dico off as hes a true Lancastrian, too tight to keep his car on the road. The idea is to have a few elans for photos. but if you cant get in a lotus then your still welcome!

Well he's got a good excuse for not going into the show itself at Doningon this year because the event has not been organised.
Sorry, thread hijacked again. :chair:

Any concensus on accomodation?

Nick mentioned a Premier Inn for £29, but there are lots to choose from at various prices.....

....being a cheapskate I was thinking of the Travelodge (at Woolley Edge M1) which will do 2 nights (Fri & Sat) at under £43.

Any thoughts????

Also, which would be better, Northbound or Southbound? - both the same price at the moment!

Anyone for a curry on the Friday night? :gathering: :drunk: Is there anywhere in Barnsley that sells curry :smt043 :smt043
