A good turn out 4 Elans this month, which if you take the weather into consideration not a bad turn out, more people than cars.

Depending on weather, does anyone fancy a jaunt next month? I'm thinking of meeting up at the Cricketers by about 8.00 & taking a scenic route of around 30 minutes long to get to another nearby pub?

Cool idea, assuming the weather is better than it has been of late, would you like a route as I know the area very well and there are some, lets say interesting roads, may need to be aware that if the weather is good there could be a few hazards like farmers on corn cart but then again the harvest may be late this year due to the lack of sunshine.

Bob,

I had not got aywhere in mind & you know the area much better than I do.
I do find the route from Buntingford to Rickling Green an nice drive but that takes any of the Essex clan further away.
A circular route starting & finishing at the Cricketers perhaps?

I have a couple of routes in mind one about 30 miles and the other about 18 miles with a few straights and some nice wiggly bits.
Going in a loop is not a problem and that would rule out sat nav as you would need way points so may be a road book with "tulips" and then people can do the loop without the need to follow every one else but it would be easier with a navigator.
