Things are moving along for this event and should be good if the weather is kind, at the moment it looks like the attendance from LEC is only going to be a token one well 5 cars which is a bit of a shame.

Not forgetting all the Elans there get to drive around the circuit on the Saturday

I would have thought the club area, when I went there for the Mini day and they went on the track for a "parade"the access was from that side of the track.
They also had a special symbol in their windows for club parking.

the weather i believe is supposed to be better in august

Could it get much worse

Are you actually going in your car Paul :poke: will we see it next week :poke:

The event is over 2 days so you can come to either day or both, tickets are available for either day at £10.00 each or £15.00 for both days if pre booked or £21.00 and £27.00 on the day.

I am going to hazard a guess that entry will be via the main entrance off the A20.
As to parking then probably the club area seems to me to be the choice as we/LEC have an area allocated but if you prefer there is nothing stopping you parking on the south bank but you may miss out on the parade lap.
As for displaying a notice I'm not sure but will see if I can find out, may not be needed as the marshalls usually direct you to the right palce.

I should have some free weekend tickets on there way not sure how many but if you want one let me know, first come first served.
Camping is being organised by seloc but not too sure how that works as far as tickets go but I assume that to camp you will need to buy tickets through SELOC.

Paul,

If you intend to camp I think you will need to buy tickets via SELOC as at the "free" Brands Hatch campsite there are no facilities and I would think SELOC will be organising some facilities.
Will see what tickets turn up first.

Personally I will be driving there on both days as I gave up camping years ago.

Hi Bob

No camping for me either , i havent done it for years and then just recently i camped at le mans (as the old saying goes you learn something new everyday) well i learnt also i dont like camping anymore and my house is only a twenty minute drive..

I can advise of some local ok ish hotels if you guys dont fancy driving all the way home and back again if that was the plan.

That would be great Bob if I could put my name on one. :D

If you guys are meeting north of the river then it would be good to meet up once you've all come over the bridge. Maybe Dave
can let me know once your through the tolls and I can catch up with you at Junction 2?
