Why not drop the other event as you'll not only miss the drive in, you'll also miss the parade lap.

None to sure why they sent you a parking ticket VIP or any thing else, as far as I'm aware it is not needed if you are parking with the rest in the Lotus Club area.

Right Guys are you sitting comfortably?

I will be taking the VX on Saturday, reason, to make up the numbers, I think there is only 3 of us at the mo for Saturday a few more on Sunday. Just looking at the layout of the stands, LEC is right next door to the VX220 stand. So Dee tentatively said shall i take the Elan and join the LEC stand. Brilliant i thought that way both cars get an airing. Now does Dee need a ticket? I know i get a free one from the VX stand. This will all only be for the Saturday, Dee's birthday on the Sunday so she wants to do something a bit better than standing around cars. Hope that all makes sense, just sounding things out at the mo.

Cheers Chris

Looks like all the Lotus cars get to do a parade lap after the Elan parade lap.
To quote:
Lotus owners are being given the opportunity to lap the world famous Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit at this August’s festival.

A 50th anniversary Elan parade will be followed by a procession from Lotus owners for two laps behind a pace car. Owners wishing to take part must sign on in the Lotus Motorsport trade tent between 10am and 11am on Saturday 18 August and they will receive a wrist band allowing them onto the track. Passengers must be 14 or over and no crash helmets are permitted.
