Trouble is....a combination of 20 year old car, siezed bolts and low headed bolts which would have been difficult to remove when new - let alone now, makes getting the liner off is a project in itself.
So the only way I've found to get the wheel arch off is to grind/cut off the fixings where they are siezed using a Dremmel Multi-tool with a flexible shaft, spraying the area to keep things cool - you would be amazed how useful a Dremmel is.
So.......I've sourced all the replacement fittings in stainless steel/brass where possible.
Sufficient for both front wheel arches the kit will consist of:
Tube Epoxy Resin (for fitting rubber rawl plugs)
4 x rubber rawl plugs (Neoprene rubber over M6 brass threaded section)
4 x M6 Lug Nuts(zinc plated steel)
8 x M6 Dome nuts (Stainless Steel)
8 x Penny Washers (Stainless Steel)
6 x Self Tapping Screws (Stainlesss Steel)
6 x Penny Washers (Stainless Steel)
6 x Plastic Plugs
COST £15.00 including POSTAGE TO UK and a donation to LEC - might be a bit less if I get sufficient numbers
Overseas will be a bit extra - but I won't rip you off
So - if you are interested put your name on the list below.
I'll close the list on 31st August, place the order and ask for the cash preferably by electronic transfer/cheque or as a last resort - paypal.
