No, I'm back home dahn sarf now.. .. we were visiting friends who live in those parts and went for for stunning walks - on the way back in friend's car we saw the red Elan with a mature driver. Must be a great place for Elaning.

What colour? It could have been my wife on her blue S2 (but probably not as neither of us have ever been 'spotted'!!)

Yellow Elan on A40 going into London about 11ish near Hoover building, didnt see us (silk red S2) travelling in other direction.
On arriving at Silverstone to watch Bentley Drivers Club wonderful yearly meeting (no where else will you see such an eclectic mix of cars in one day racing each other from every spectrum of club and historic racing) Parked next to a red S2 and were later joined by a red SE. Didnt see owners of either car sadly.

Good grief, might well have been me. Think I bailed off the A40 at Perivale, so right before Hoover building. You're right, I failed miserably to spot you the other way. sorry!

No need to apologise, with two speed cameras in a short distance, plus two junctions near one another causing all sorts of late lane changing nonsense its a section of road that requires concentration! You're yellow Elan also stands out rather better than my silk red example!
Warmest regards...............Ian

On way home from Brand's Festival where we gathered with about 28 fellow LEC' ers and were amazed to see a blue Hreg SE at the junction of East Hill and High Park roads on the Island. Exchanged a friendly wave.
