Decided to print the timetable off and need to make sure we register for the track between 10 and 11am on Saturday!

Looking forward to it!

Please rain, get your stuff out the way during the week to keep the weekend clear... :poke:

As it stands the forcast is light showers, which will make for interesting racing and a brolly may be a good thing to pack in the boot.

Now this may cause some controversy

Who is the best driver and is going Sunday? They need to be good in karts as they are running an inter club karting competition.

We need someone who can drive a kart preferably fast and at least try to win for LEC
There will be 2 x 10 minute heats – 7 karts in each. So 14 clubs/groups.
The top 4 drivers from each heat will compete in a 10 mins final.
They need to be at the Brands Hatch kart circuit behind the Kentagon for 10.35am to sign on, suit up etc – they don’t need suits, helmets etc, kick off 11.00am

I need an answer asap as I need to let the organiser know the name of the driver

Rule me out.

Didn't like Karting the last time I did it. And wouldn't want to put up with all the 'lady driver' nonsense japes that are inevitable!

Should be fun to watch though!

Hi all,

Sorry I have been away from the forum for so long. I'm bringing the Elan along on Saturday, can I join any communal parking? I can contribute a Calypso pink N/A!

Not a problem to join us on the LEC stand, you can even meet up for the convoy run in if you want details are further up the topic but essentially HomeBase DA1 1LA.

3 N/A's at one meet :)

Critical bit here I think is "done this many times" as a novice is not going to do well so I'll put Gary forward with David as reserve.

Weather is looking good for both days with the slightly better weather on the Saturday but warm both days with Saturday up to 80 + F.
May still need a brolly but as a sun shade, and sun block and hats may be needed, remember some red faces and heads last year at Stetterton.

If the convoy goes well on the Saturday I see no reason not to repeat it on the Sunday.
