[/quote]<br><br>Grahame was kind enough to let me try the hard top on his Elan for size - being about 6 foot three I was a bit worried that the hard top might result in there being a good bit less headroom than is available when using the hood. <br><br>The result: it does decrease the headroom slightly (maybe an inch or so) but no more than that.<br><br>Specifying a thinner lining for the hard top (if that's possible) might help restore some of the lost headroom, but in any event it's a small price to pay for such an invaluable product.<br><br>Simon, there's another order coming your way. <br><br>

Apologies for being out of touch for a while but work has been very demanding recently  [smiley=disbelief.gif][smiley=whip.gif]<br><br>However, things have been progressing with the hardtop. I have now taken the moulds to another, much larger, manufacturer so I can now get them produced in respectable numbers. I am also arranging for a Lotus specialist to supply and fit the tops as I simply don't have the time to do this myself. Once this is up and running, I will let you know.

No flexing and seals are sweet.<br><br>Visability is amazing and the car is a lot quieter.<br><br>It is really a 2 person job to put on and take off but it is not difficult.<br><br>You'll struggle now summer is here (kinda...) but see if you can have a look at one.  You'll love it!  ;)
