Ok, how about we look at getting to Chappel for 3.00 & maybe adjust this when we know what time Stef will finish work?

Campsite rules here so no fire pit, Stef. No excessive noise after 11.30pm either. I can't see that being an issue if we are all drunk & sleepy.

& the important bit, the beer list

As before, no facilities except the station toilets. Graham & freshened up on Saturday by going swimming in Colchester & I think the plan is to do the same again this year.

Aaahhh, the beer list! Thanks for the updates!

Last year I used the showers in the units provided for the catering staff.

Never mind G, I think we take it in turns to have issues.
You know it doesn't matter if you're in a Lotus, a Lancer or even a tractor (that would be something  )

Still looks like 2-3pm will be when I can get away.

Does anyone have a spare gold print glass from last year's fest? Broke mine and I'm gutted :(

I think so. I'll check when I get home.
You could have taken loads last year. They were scattered all over the place on Sunday morning.

Thanks! :D

There were loads and I did collect a few. Think I gave the extras away though

I've got a little hole in the exhaust which is going to be patched up on friday morning. Not sure what time it will be finished, but hope to be setting off by 12. This means I'll be there for 2pm.

Have packed pirate costume (and black fancy dress shoes again after 2 hours of painstakingly removing paint with white spirit and a scourer - had painted them Gold for the last fancy dress costume...)

Will also be bringing running gear to run off the hangerover each morning, anyone going to join me???? :poke:

Hoping to sneak into the shower block again this year, would love to go swimming on the Saturday morning, but currently banned from swimming due to arm STILL being in a cast :(

I was looking to meet G near Cambridge at about 2.00 although we are both a little flexible on this. Remember that we'll be drinking until about 11.00 so there is no rush. If we go too fast we'll blow ourselves out.
If you wanted to meet us somewhere near Bury (maybe for a coffee at Jim's) then we can take a more interesting route than the A14.
I wouldn't count on Stef being too far behind us either. She sprinkled some magic dust on her schedule last year & got away earlier than planned. :-D

An early morning run sounds good to me.

Magic dust running low although looks like 2pm could be a likely set-off for me now! Should be pitched by around 4 if that's the case! Gin gang goolie watcha I'm a coming!

Hangover run?! And you use to scoff at me eh?! Deffo.

Suns out, attention span limited, really wanting a beer now!

Agreed, just want to get there, pitch the tent and then I can relax. I hardly drink anymore, so will be drinking slow as possible. Looking forward to soaking up the atmosphere :D

Will call you when I set off, so we can meet up wherever's best.

Weather for Sunday is going to hit 28C in East Anglia 8)

Usually on the Sunday, we pack up and drive to the car show St Mary's, but this year it's a week later.

Who fancies going somewhere for Sunday lunch? Somewhere in the Cambridge area would be good central location for all of us travelling home in the afternoon.

If not, no worries, I will go home via Southwold for an ice cream and bag of chips :D
