Hi,
Justine and I would like to invite you to a Lotus gathering at our Lodge, near Ballater, on Sunday 23 September 2012 from 11am onwards.
We'll put on some soup & sandwiches for lunch and then go for a run in the cars for all those interested.
We've been really busy and it seems like we've missed all the events this year so I really hope you can make it.
Please feel free to pass this invitation on to other Lotus drivers/clubs that you think might be interested.
RSVP

cheers, Archie

Archie,
Thanks for the invitation. Maggie and I will be there. What can we bring?
We might have to bring Mac as our dog-sitters have gone back to university. We'll keep him on the lead away from the hens. How's Sarge with visitors? Has he still got his nuts?

Hi Farran,

there are a few guys coming up from the LEGS forum, see....

http://www.thelotusforums.com/forums/to ... mber-2012/

There are 3 cars coming up from Fife so I've asked them to get in touch with me.
Looking forward to catching up, not seen you for years!

Hi Archie,

Any soup left in the pot for a wee one ? I'll come on my tod and leave Jock at home - there sounds like a bit too much doggy testosterone flying about for my wee boy ;-)

I'll be coming up via Perth and Blairgowrie, Braemar etc... but not sure of my timings to hook up with Farran. I have an art deal to be done in the Tesco car park at Blairgowrie with a female at about 0930/1000 ish but won't know exact timings until the Sunday. All will be revealed later but hoping to arrive 1100/1130 ish

Scott, you'll give Scotsman a bad name, put some juice in the tank and come out for a blast!

Farran and Mark, if you can make it to Tesco's car park in Blairgowrie for 10 then you'll be meeting up with Mike in a black Esprit, Brian in a red esprit and Mark in a red Elise.

cu tomorrow, Arch

That ties in quite nicely with my wheeling and dealing at 0930. I think there will be quite a lot of noise in the Tesco car park about 10 am. Hope we don't disturb those going into kirk too much ;-)

Had a great day today, wonderful hospitality from both Archie and Justine. Good to see a fair turn out of M100 and a few other beasts. I did like the V8 esprit, but the Exige was looking good as well

Archie,
Thanks for your hospitality today - you and Justine were generous as ever. Maggie and I had a great time, but Mac didn't think much of travelling on the passenger floor.
I think there were six Elans (and 3 of them Norfolk Mustard), two Elan plus 2s, three Esprits, an Exige, two Elises (a bit of a difference in style between M400 TOO and Tut's), and that loony 2-Eleven. A nice get-together.
We couldn't have been luckier with the weather, and we only got stuck behind a couple of cars on the way home - not bad considering that this sort of weather usually has the Deeside Sunday traffic out in force. I hope Scott got his Esprit safely home: I presume you were going to the Allargue hotel to meet him when you pulled off - was it an engine problem?
It was great to see everybody again. I must get to more events next year.

John

Hi Justine/Archie,

Home safely in 3 hours 5 mins. Many thanks for a great day out. That spread of food was excellent and the leek and potato soup well worth the 302 mile round trip. Glenshiel looked great in the late Autumn sunshine and you've both don a fine job on the new log chalets

PS Hope King Tut didn't stand on Sarge's turd with his bare feet on the way out

Yeah, Scott has a blown diff. I went back to the coffee shop at 5pm but he'd just left in the recovery truck. Hopefully going to help him at the end of the week to put a new one in. Boy he doesn't hang around!
Thanks again everyone.
