Door Inserts - Re-cover

Looking to re-cover the door cards and wonder if anyone has advice where to go.

Looking for a leather trim ideally.

Neil's Auto Interiors near Southend did my purple bits. Quality & price were both good.
Recommended to me by Paul69 & I believe SteveA may have also had his Elan re-trimmed by them too.

More than mine I expect because it was a more expensive colour

Think it was about £700 for 2 seats & 2 door panels. As I had part perforated seats it was more expensive,but there was some left so the door panels are also part perforated. Piping is leather --grey to match Steel Blue paint. They do a lovely job specialising in custom & hotrod cars trimming from scratch! Only a small place but real craftsmen!

Just remembered we have a customer who has a trick interior on a HA Viva(!!!) & Neil even made her a handbag to match -----------They are into 60'/70' cars having a few

Not a bad price. Mine look like yours but with dark blue piping with perforated leather also.
Did they take your old covers apart or give them back?
Have they now got a pattern?

To be honest I left the car there & picked it up done! Took a while to pin them to a date but was worth it

I know that there are obvious differences (like the stripes!) but i have the old set of covers from when i did the red car (red striped SE) - i am more than happy for someone to have them for the cost of the postage if anyone can use them as a pattern for new items - got the door panel (recess) covers and the seats themselves.

I may have a removed door insert leather cover if needed (need to find it in the garage) and I have a pair of the door insert leathers Grey/yellow that are new and unfitted if it helps

Cheers for offers lads. I was asking because mine are not that bad and if they were returned to me in one piece they would be worth something to someone. Just wondered if they would need to take mine apart as a pattern if I considered doing it.
