On 2nd September this year there’s a rare opportunity to park on the front lawn of Wentworth Woodhouse in South Yorkshire.

They are holding their first Classic Car event.

Please let me know if you are interested in attending.

Does anybody fancy meeting at the pub at the A62 that we used to meet up at the week after christmas for some lunch? Friday would be best for me and Kim... Think we've left it long enough. If the weathers not great just come in dailys as it would still be good to catch up.

Re: South and West Yorkshire

This started out as a South and West Yorkshire meeting.

I’ve managed to get to them all and thoroughly enjoyed the company each time.

The pub at Marsden is spot on for most of you ... literally on your doorstep ... and you do right to carry on going.

For my part if anyone wants to organise something similar in our area I’m almost certain to turn up.

Wow.

Is the 'ol Elan gonna get an outing??! Seems like it hasn't seen the light of day for some time from the rumbles I'm being fed through the jungle! :poke:

Sorry about that Nick, I thought you lived a few minutes down the road in Huddersfield when the meetings took place. :? Presumably you've moved since you got married.

You are indeed correct I have moved, it was 45 mins from my previous house. :D

Its just an easy to find place, great food, nice drink, nice place away from speed bumps and grotty town centres. If you have some suggestions, maybe the ladybower pub? Id be more than happy to travel south rather than west.

Is this meet still on? If it is I'll be turning up.

Has a time been set?

Hi Roland, not much intrest, it is a busy time for everyone though... Maybe if we delay it to end of January? Would there be more people willing?

Well, it only takes two to have a meet!

I've nothing else on and, if the weather's half decent that day, I'll make my way up there for about 1PM. If any body else would like a run out and a pub visit/food then that would be good, otherwise I'll sit in the darkest corner and try and act as if I'm not "Billy no mates" !
