Just gauging interest at the moment...
I've obtained a perspex rear number plate cover and before I permanently fasten it to the back of my car wondered if there was a demand for a few copies to be made. I have a few companies local to me I can go to to get quotes, cant imagine that the material cost can be too high, so if there is a big enough batch I'm aiming to get them in the £20-30 bracket (wild finger in the air estimation). The last 'new' ones were going for over £100, but I believe they are all gone and second hand on flee bay are £60 - £100
Who's potentially in?
Phil.

Tempting as it is for me, being as my car didn't come with one, as far as I am aware (and I may be wrong), if it wasn't fitted as standard, it could be construed as fitting something which would interfere with the ANPR cameras.
So in the words of Duncan Bannatine "ahm oot!"
For all you lucky ones with them already fitted as standard, sounds like a good deal to me

It is nowt but a myth that they defeat Gatso cameras - they don't!
Also, if your car didn't used to have one, then it wont fit anyway - the plinth is a different design - it's not a simple case of 'lets take the plastic bit off the outside and sell the car as a facelift' - the whole black plastic bit is different.

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it
...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

They certainly don't defeat Gatso cameras. I've done a speed awareness course to prove it.
They can steam up in very wet weather & this can make your plate unreadable. I expect it would be illegal to drive it in this condition though.
