I'm on for Brands Hatch deffo.

Siverstone Classics is als a good un.

Deffo going Chappel beer fest again.

Always happy to consider other get togethers!

I'd only not do Donington if traffic is going to be terrible, if our parking is stolen and no-one else is going. Wouldn't mind watching some BTCC

There is the Sywell Beer Fest held at Sywell Aerodrome coupled with the LAA rally and camping. Have emailed them to see if it will be on this year.
Men are like a fine wine.
They begin as grapes, and it's up to women to stomp the sh * t out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.

Is the new exhibition centre built on the same site as the old one ? Lets hope that Alan Morgon/Club Lotus have reserved some "exclusively Lotus" parking :o

Sounds like it.
The latest Club Lotus mag infers that the existing exhibition centre has been refurbished & maybe also extended.

message from Alan at Club Lotus

"Having spoken to several of our traders it's obvious that any attempt to change the date would cause disruption, chaos and confusion so we're staying with April 20/21. This was my gut feeling right from the start as I was confident the traffic situation could be addressed.

I've now had a very good chat with Donington and they had already started planning traffic flows for both BTCC spectators and Club Lotus Show visitors. Needless to say it's obviously in their interests that there are no problems and things run smoothly.

It’s worth considering that handling an estimated 15,000 spectators in maybe 7,500 cars isn’t a major problem for a circuit like Donington. Think of the numbers at the Silverstone Classic not to mention the GP...

Donington have an established plan for getting race traffic off the road and parking them swiftly once they're inside the circuit. They will have plenty of marshals and all BTCC parking will be well away from our area.

We have not lost any of our regular amount of hard-standing parking space around the Exhibition Hall and had already planned with them how and where to park our visitors. Good signage will be in place and they're confident all traffic will flow smoothly from the motorway and there will be no major traffic jams at any time during the weekend.

We know from experience that parking is never a problem at Doni providing you have a plan and sufficient marshals before you start! I'm confident we have both so please don't stay away because of a hypothetical situation that will not exist.

Alan"

I'll refer you, sir, to the 5th post on this thread where I instructed you to provide a suitable set of topics for people to add relevant things..........

Also, a bit further on, I requested a suitable set of lists in the appropriate threads (which YOU never made!)......

...so don't come in here at the last minute and demand a bloody list!!!!!!

Anyway, as we now appear to have just one topic, and no more being made :banghead: - I'll play your game and join the relevant list(s)
