Had a very pleasant evening with Rob, Michelle and Deirdre. Carvery was up to the usual standard. No Elans present though. Thanks Deirdre for taking me home.
Where was everyone though??
Could the 'Hokey-Cokey' actually be what it's all about?

I'm going to make the effort even though the weather forecast is cr@p.
Beginning to feel a little stir crazy so it will be nice to be able to drive in a straight line for more than 500 yards

Struggled a bit on the way back - CEL was on and car overfuelling and stuttering - almost cutout at the red lights in Farnham - but cleared itself after that. Checked this morning and I had a code 33 - map sensor - one on order.
See you next month.
p.s. thanks for the info on Ypres, Dave - we'll give it a miss this year...

Great to catch up with everyone, and nice to meet you, Les.
...and didn't someone (mentioning no names) point out that it's the 25th Anniversary of the our Elan next year? We'll have to mark that in some way...

Sorry will not be attending tonight
The cheapest ferry is £43.50 as the robbing b@$t@rds have gone to summer timetables. Still I suppose that is the price you have to pay to live somewhere you can still leave your keys in the car and have a fair chance it will be there in the morning.
Slightly off topic am now thinking positively about Donington and hope to catch up with some of you there
If Steve A or Trevor B read this an ETA at J6a (M25) would help with planning.
