He just can't set up the car to suit his driving style. McLaren seem to be going backwards - their low chassis approach makes for a nicer looking car but seems to have been the wrong option.

Loved seeing Jensen back in form in Germany. Also happy to see that Vettel got penalized for passing off track like that.

I think Vettel's penalty was correct. It was no different to keeping a place by cutting a corner.
He could have given the place back & with hindsight would have easily passed Button again...but they were racing. When you try your hardest, it is inevitable that you sometimes cross the line of fairness.

Ferrari make excellent starts yet again.
Alonso & Massa made virtually identical starts too.

Does anyone else feel that they are too consitent at being too good?
It screams 'launch control' to me.

Why? The only thing Lotus about those cars is the name. Other than that, they are F1 Renault!

Body, suspension & chassis is Lotus & the last 2 are the most important. Everything else is 'borrowed' from other cars & usually is on most Lotuses.

whats happened to caterham......(lotus racing/team lotus)...
they seem to have made negative progress.......
having managed to be on the back of the mid field they are now just at the back....
cant see Frenandez keeping the funding going for too many more years at this rate.....

nice to see a lotus name at the top.....

the thing about the whole lotus/not lotus thing is, for me at least, is that its as much a true car as any of them are.....
non of them are made by the factories that make cars.....these are all specialist business' funded by the highest bidders

just look how many teams change names........ :-D

 I don't like team orders but I accept they are (and always have been) apart of F1
What Vettel did today was totally wrong and dangerous :chair:

If he really felt so bad about it and was worried he might not sleep all he had to do was pull over.
Pity it has all come down to team orders again tho'

If I had gone against team orders in my last job I would have been sacked instantly !!

He is not a team player, that's for sure.
