Finally..... Some good news :D

I picked up the plates this evening and they look Good !! They are made from 1mm 304 stainless steel.

I have peeled back the protective film on several of them and do not see any scratches or damage on them. Surface finish looks excellent, Mirror finish.
Logo is etched into the surface and coloured matt black. I do not see any areas that are not filled correctly. Personally I'm verry happy with them.

Only bad news is that they were supplied without the double sided tape on the back.

I have 20 sets of the polished plates available if anyone would like a set they are £15 / set. plus shipping.

Using the regular mail service. I think I can get them delivered to the UK for £4.50 but it may take upto 2 - 3 weeks for delivery.
If sending more than 1 set to an address price may work out cheaper. Although sending them all together in 1 package may catch the attention of Uk customs and it's 4.4kg.! I will check in work to see if anyone is travelling back to the UK in the next few weeks.

Unfortunately I did not order any brushed finish plates. The one in the picture that Jeemy posted for me was a sample that they sent.
The finish is good but not highly textured like I was hoping for. If required I could order them.

Not sure if anyone who put their name down when this started several months ago is still interested ( a few people already have some of the earlier plates).
I will be happy to hold them for anyone that was listed earlier or if anyone else would like a set please add names below and drop me a pm with full name and address.

For any future orders Jeemy's idea of ordering a large batch may work out cheaper (and may be better quality).

For anyone that would like a set of the Polished sill plates for £15 / (plus postage). please add names below

Thanks for the interest in the sill plates.

If you have not already done so Please send me a pm with full name and delivery address. (plus contact phone no if possible).

Anyone that was on the origional list will be given priority and I will try to get the parts out to you in the next few days.

For people that were not on the inital list. I will be happy to send out any sets that are left. If needed I could place an additional order if you do not mind waiting for another week or 2.

Dapinky. If you would prefer the brushed finish and there are a few others that would like this. I would be happy to place another order for the brushed parts. Brushed parts are OK... But I would have prefered a more textured surface....

Regards
