Sounds quite hard to arrange but it usually works really well.
Do we need a list

I have never been on so many lists (that I know of at least!) but here we go!

Whoa! I think we should start a separate thread for the M1 convoy or else it will get muddled with the Services-Track one which this thread was supposed to be about

I don't think the convoy lists ever got anywhere near 100 but.......... on the day, well that's a different story.

I do take your point though, that the number on the day does seem to be gradually reducing.

What time are we looking to set off from the services? IIRC, we used to meet up around 9am & head for the track at about 9.30?
I want to coordinate our convoy from the south to arrive at a suitable time.

I'm not in charge, but forming up at 0930 to arrive by 0945ish sounds about right - so if people aim to be there for 0900 it gives time for the obligatory chat and coffee.

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it
...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

But if you aren't in charge, who are we all going to moan at when we decide (or don't) to set out in a colour-coordinated convoy? Or shall we leave that until we are all in the car-park, like usual!?!?!
