Spotted this at the local Lotus dealer in Mainz, only the second one I have seen over here.

Apparantly in there to be put on German plates.

This was in the car park as well.

Would really like a test drive, especially with an unrestricted autobahn nearby.

Spotted a very clean (impressive in current weather) red M100 parked on square just near Tony Blair's London residence last night. Not sure which was the bigger surprise, the Elan or the uniformed officer standing on the traffic island with machine gun by his side!

In a similar vein to my last spotted, if you watch the deleted scenes on the DVD of the film Love Actually, the beginning of one of them has a red Elan driving down a London street. I can't make out the reg, but it's an SE with early number plate cover.

Haha, this is mine

Looking at the date of your post and the location spotted, that was the day my clutch cable snapped and I had to limp it to the side of the road and leave it there...
Thankfully my local garage (Brookfield Garage on Ashley Down Road) picked it up for me, and made me a new clutch cable (nicked one out of an old Astra (or another Vauxhall) and slightly modified it iirc). Total cost, including collection, repair & VAT was £90! I was astounded it was so cheap - excellent service!

White S2 reg M***YDL passing McDonalds towards Tesco roundabout at 12-45pm today.
Now this is a bit of a puzzle!
This S2 is an original 1994 Isle of Wight reg car so has been trundling around for the last 19 of years about 2miles from me without being spotted. I dought the owner is on LEC as I would like to think they may have made contact but you never know?

My first car, a Riley 1.5, was an Isle of Wight car, and had a number plate YDL nn. I liked it so much, I kept the number when I sold the car, and it now sits resplendant on my XC90 family car.
Incidentally, has anyone seen YDL 1? I sometimes ponder the slightly ridiculous idea of having more than one YDL plate on the drive. I believe that it is worn by an ageing Honda Civic.

J-reg NMY, 07:30 on the A387 to Looe, just around the corner from my house. Gave me a shock, until I saw the number plate I thought it was mine gone AWOL!
