I've decided to adopt the Whippet modification

All the welding is now done, I've got some spacers made up to experiment with the height.
I've done some measuring and in comparision I reakon that you sit about 15mm higher on the S2000 seat,
but that might be because you sink deeper into my tired seats
I've got the black with the red middle section, I also picked up the matching door cards which I am aslo "playing" with

I've now fitted the seats, and I'm very pleased with the outcome



The seat rails were welded as per the "Whippet" method




I had various spacers made to achieve the height I wanted



I'm now working on the door cards to match

Looks great, you´ll find them really comfortable too.

The only thing I find is that the seat belt guides stop the auto retract (or my belts are on their way out), easily fixed for the MoT by removing the guide.

I had some door cards made up by a local trimmer, having the S2000 cards means a better colour match though.

All I've got to do now is do something about the scuffs on the back of the head rests.
I have a plan

the head rest panels come off and are cheap to buy , i have the same scuffs , must be a honda trite,

quality job steve, i didnt get any door card when i bought mine, think i paid a little more for mine as well, bugger,

i went to a local trimmers and got the closest leather i could and trimmed the door cards,

iv'e got nothing against blue tartan but i can think of better places for it
