I made some more pictures, from all kind for Lotus, and some other montages. I put some more hereafter, sorry no more Elan.

I had the Dashboard video for the first time, the result is not really great has i was not trained to use it, but at least sometimes it is a great reminder of that nice roads ... and events , like the blue seven touching the bent ground, live !

the trouble is that one minute video is 95 Mo, can't post that.

More snaps:

When we went into Ypres in the afternoon we went to the "In Flanders Fields" Museum

And when we came out it rained  it washed some mud off

It's a good job I left my shower cap in my boot otherwise it might of got wet :bonk:

Ypres is a nice place to visit with so much to see

The main reason for our visit that evening was to see the ceremony at Menin Gate, we wasn't disappointed.

Steve,

thank you for those pictures ... i took more than a hundred of picts during the day, when back home i noticed that i have pictured almost all cars except mine :( .

Your pictures correct this, :D ; i have now my red M100 from your picts, so i am not dreaming ...

for those who wonder about coming next year, i suggest to prepare your travel bag now, you missed something great.

Friendly,

Just back this afternoon - will post photos tomorrow as I have a cycle race tomorrow early and need sleep! Will also try to stitch together some video soon. What a fantastic event - mad driving, getting lost lots but when you are with great people it doesn't matter. I hope my exhaust is OK after the road hits but was worth it! Thanks to everyone that went and especially to the organisers. We will be back next year for sure!

Some great photo's everyone

I can only reiterate what everyone is saying. We (Lyn and I) had a great time with fantastic company
(thanks Steve and Lesley) and perhaps our convoy from the UK can be bigger next next year.
Meeting our fellow LECers was interesting.
Ovi, did you manage to drink that other bottle of red wine :?: :)
Henk-Jan, hope your wedding goes well later in the year - good luck and Best wishes to you and Suzanne :)
Pascal and Peter good to meet you both.

Great day out on Ypres. Well over 100 lotus on show on main square. Lunatic driving but had a wonderful time. Got home dead tired and had to play cricket today hence delayed posting. Will also put up some pics when I get time.

However it wasn't all good: when I checked my oil Sat morning it was empty with a telltale dollop on the drive! :( :(

Think I may have cracked sump on one of the groundings. Now need to investigate thoroughly and remove sump. Fortunately did not lose oil pressure at all on way home, so did arrive back in one piece.

Good news is the new cam belt and water pump seem to be ok. :D

Can also reiterate comments above re good company and meeting our dutch colleagues. Roll on next year, with new/repaired sump!

On the Friday we went to Diksmuide as recommended by John (Fredjohn), at least I think this was the place he was talking about (thanks for the tip John).

A good view

Then we went to the Trenches of death

We then finished the day before going back to the ferry with a nice cup of coffee and a biscuit that summed up the last few days
