Hmmm - if it's still as good as it used to be (notwithstanding that it aint gone anywhere for 3 years), i might be watching it quite closely.......

(anyone interested in buying the interior???)

It was only two Jocks and a Yorkshire Pudding Stevie. Hardly the purveyors of sartorial elegance.

Steve. Although I never commented on your ebay sale. I did notice the ad. And like you said you will either love or hate the colour scheme.....

In m my eyes Your car looks lovely.... except the re-trim. I am sorry that you currently feel offended by the posts made about your car. a lot of the people here prefer the original look of the car.

I admire your individual taste. You had the car re trimmed to your preference. Looking at the pics the re-trim was done by a professional company. It's just an unusual colour scheme.....

If you liked the colour that is all that matters.

My opinion is just another Yorkshire pudding view. I am sorry that you feel offended by peoples remarks. Reading through the thread I do not personally think that there was an offensive remarks... Just my opinion.

Hope you manage to sell your car for a good price. Or decide to keep it :)

What is the problem with our cars? I count a record 16 different cars on eBay tonight ranging from an unlikely £11.5k down to a trifling £1500. Perhaps folk are trying to cash in for the final weeks of summer!

Steve is/was a good guy .
Scotland camping meets and all.

As for Kermit if you saw it you would see that it was very well detailed. The dash leather was very clever.
ok not to everyones taste but like i say if you saw it ... it was smart.

That Scotland camping trip was in England Clemo ;-) In the Lake District

And news on the LEC grapevine is that Stevieshag has decided to keep Kermit so hopefully other newer LEC members will get to see his lovely leather interior. The only thing I didn't like was the leather covered binnacle cover :o

"Epipete" asks 'what's wrong with our cars' and I share his confusion - the M100 is a good, honest car but values always seem lowside and, as he indicates, asking prices are all over the place!

As far as I'm concerned:
a) It's a Lotus (few other marques have the history of racing, innovation etc)
b) The car is eminently usable, for highdays only or everyday.
c) Parts & maintenance are readily available, as are most parts.
d) Nowadays, it looks quite modern (back in the day, I thought it 'fat' but check out Audi TT's and, really, every other modern car - all 'fat'!)

So what's not to like & value? Answers on a postcard.........

I agree with you. These 4 points are the reason I bought one. I think that their lack of value is because:
a. It is FWD;
b. It was a commercial failure; and
c. It didn't take Lotus forward.

I am unconcerned by their low value, personally. Their values probably won't climb until DVB claim a hundred or two more cars.
