What's up with you? No camping??!

And, if you turn up in a non-Lotus, well, that shall be sacrilege! :poke:

Who said anything about a non-Lotus? :-D

I already have my weekend tickets, as mentioned above...

My question is how to get my Elan inside the Brands Hatch area and park it at LEC area ?
If I have to leave it outside on the public parking lot, I wont bother driving the Elan to Brands Hatch.

Is my English really that bad and hard to understand ? :-D :-D

I've not this festival at Brands before.
When it was at Snetterton, I don't think there would have been a problem getting into the camp site.
I'm sure there will be Elans in the main car park though & most of the cars will be Lotuses so it won't be like leaving it in a public car park.

I have booked my camping tickets but I'm not sure I'll use the camping option

Indeed, last year inside Brands Hatch, see pictures ...

(In Snetterton 2011 I didn't drive the Elan, we were a bunch of Belgian Lotus enthousiasts in a minibus.)

I'm presuming Lotus cars will be able to park inside.

Have emailed Lotus Festival bods to find out.

OK, so here is the reply.

If we get enough together, they will set aside ground for us! :)

List time??

Email reply:

Hi

We’ve currently got parking allocated for most clubs but nothing for m100 / elan central at moment.

The parking area just inside is used this year unfortunately and general lotus parking will be in the middle of the circuit on south bank.

If you know a few other m100/elan owners I’d be more than happy to create you a small area just inside the entrance with other clubs?

Regards

Paul Golding

I've been in touch with Paul Golding and he will set aside a small area for us - I've told him it should be about a dozen cars (6 + Shaun, Rusty & Graham + 3 spare).

If anyone hasn't bought a weekend ticket yet, I may be able to help if a few sheqels are thrown at the kitty!

I do remember last year when we arrived at the main gate they wouldn't let us in because we didn't have a pass to
show that LEC had an area set aside. Bob Brown sorted it!! Will the entry staff have better knowledge of the Lotus
Clubs attending or do LEC'ers need a specific pass code?
