Does anyone know where to get replacement drivers side door mirror glass, Paul Matty's tell me they aren't available anymore. Mine already has a plastic replacement fitted but it warps in the sun and distorts so you can't see properly?
Thanks, Tim

I have just spotted this on Ebay
Looks like it's 1 of the ones from SW Lotus. For a LHD car? It would probably fit but I have no idea of the image quality if it would be acceptable for UK cars? Anyone?

That would probably be tough to look at if put on the UK driver's side. Everything would be out of kilter as it is for the passenger side on a LHD car and it is convex.
C100U0316F is on the Aftersales list for 24.39. I believe it is the entire RH, LHD mirror assembly!

If its a mirror assembly, I bought a pair but they don't come with the glass.

Has anyone found a cross-reference replacement for Elan side mirror - or something that can easily be adapted. Truly, these original mirrors are rubbish, and I have no interest in maintaining their originality in my Elan. The mechanism, mirrors, springs, housing - all landfill. I would be content to have mine manually adjustable.
Cheers,

Crap! Just broke the right hand (convex) mirror trying to fix it. Considering I've done the horns and headlight motors without breaking anything, I'm not doing tooooo poorly. Still, broken mirror, argh.
And hey, Mel in Danville, we should meet up and compare shades of red

If you save everything 'til the last minute, it only takes a minute!
