For those who wish to know more about the material, it's self adhesive 'Gloss Polymeric Vinyl'. I'm told its very hard wearing, and applied using a mixture of warm water and a touch of washing up liquid sprayed onto the paintwork (to enable the film to be slid into position). As to what temperature it will withstand, the guy, in his opinion says it should be o.k for around +40deg C. If anyone wants it for higher temps, let me know and he will look into it. I will try to take a photograph but it is difficult to capture on camera as it is a clear vinyl and about 30mm wide, just enough to protect where the hood touches.
