Wet knee fix

Postby novacaine » Tue 26.11.2013, 22:34

Hi All,

Has anyone tried this? www.lotuselancentral.com/repair/seals.htm

It sounds interesting, but the pictures are a bit vague and I can't work out how to do it. Also inch wide D shaped seal strips seem to be impossible to find. Anyone know where i can pick some up quickly?

Try a Delorean sight on your side of the pond.
In the States we have self adhesive inner and outer door seals that come quite close
to what you are looking for.

haha I'd love a Delorian, but I'll stick with the Elan for now.

I'm after some sticky back car door like seals but they don't seem to be easy to find in aprox 1" width

I believe he was telling you to search for a Delorean seal in your area, as it might fit the bill.

yeah i knew what you meant sorry. There doesn't seem to be a British supplier though, so just some universal seals may work if i can find some

Walker Rubber makes the rubber spoiler on the front bumper and they also make D extrusions

You might need to call them for sizes and prices
