Fitted today but not sure it looks right?! Probably because I like clean lines and this appears like I have a paint defect?
It was a little fiddly but I prepared the position by putting some tape along the outer line of fitting point to ensue that
position was correct. Be aware if you touch the sticky side you end up with a finger print which shows through. If it's
not lined up correctly it can easily be peeled off to realign but would not recommend doing that too many times.
At least there is some protection now not that the hood comes up very often.
Here are before and after photo's. What do you think, has it spoilt the look?

I suspect the colour of the car as something to do with it. A red, black or green car (or other somewhat darker colour) may show this more prominently. Fortunately, a white car, like mine, probably won't show the lines as much - I hope.

It will be interesting to see what it looks like after the roof's been sitting on it for a while or after its been exposed to the sun for a few months.

Don't forget to spray mist soapy water on the body before applying sticker, this allows you to slide it into place before flatting out the air bubbles.

Hmmmmm! That's exactly the reason I didn't go for this particular Group Buy. I've seen a couple of these on Elans before and it has always appeared to me that the "cure" is worse than the symptom.

You also should clean off any wax or other protectant that is in the area you want to apply it. Absolute cleanliness is necessary.
