I think he's just WON the lottery!
Who's the nutter that's just paid the full £1300 Buy-It-Now price for it?!?

Come on, don't be shy - 'fess up! We won't laugh (much).
And after we've picked ourselves up off the floor, I'm sure we'll be able to offer some helpful pointers.

I have no idea who bout this one, maybe a breaker or hopefully a brave soldier like me. Maybe we will see them on LEC?

If it IS a brave soldier then I hope we do, because those who know me know that I would be happy to help them to resurrect it.
If it's a breaker just hoping to line their pockets, not interested.

It's a sad time for me, I've decided to sell my Elan. I've a family of 3 and as the car has only 2 seats it gets very little use, although my little lad does say he's prepared to travel in the boot! In the last 4 years I've only covered 2000 miles. Time it went to another Lotus enthusiast who can spend more time driving it. Not sure what the market is like currently, but guess it's the right time of year to sell.......
If a LECer is interested I'm sure a discount can be worked, plus a generous donation to LEC funds for all the help, advice and friends I've had and made over the years.

Cheers,
Alan

Alan
Sounds and looks like a very good car for someone. I'd buy it myself if I didn't have one already and a full garage!

I think I know this car. Certainly should do - it's only about 7 miles away.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lotus-Elan-M1 ... 27e4aef759Looks potentially as though it could be a really good deal for someone.
