After all the hard work done by TLF (Bibs) to get this event organised it.would be a shame that the representation from LEC is diminished because of a little rain. Even 'Merlot' shall make the effort and she definitely would not normally go out in it.

Hope to see you all there.

Well I'd be lying if I said I I hadn't been wavering about making the effort after seeing the forecast for Sunday :( but Trevor is correct, TFL have put a lot of work into organising the day so I'm not bothering about the polishing session on Saturday, digging out a couple of brollies,a towel each for the knee and will see you there :D

I have to say I'm on the fence. It would be a shame to miss my first Lotus event and I have just fitted some of DROMONG's A pillars so my car is more water tight, but I need to play with the top seal a little more. I'm still going to be fitting my front brake kit today and watching the weather forecasts like a hawk, in hope that I still make the trip.

I'm still going and like Trevor I try not to take mine out in the rain, but that's only because I don't like to wash and polish it as will be evident when I get there :D

:poke: if your car is sporting DROMONG's (Jamie's) super seal's you HAVE TO GO just so we in the south can see them first hand :poke:

Come on if you let the weather decide your day's out your car wouldn't get out of the garage

:agree:

Have just returned home from a trip to Hampshire and decided to do a recce of where we are going off the A3, it's very easy but want to
emphasise that on the A245 it is the 2nd roundabout we need to take so as to meet at Community Park. The first roundabout is signposted
Brooklands and MBW (B374) but we won't be taking that one. Have a look at Google Maps if unsure.

Good to see the response, just make sure you have the obligatory towel available

See you all Sunday

Trevor

p.s. My passenger has pulled out so answering and making calls may be difficult and I wouldn't like to break the law :!:

Thats the spirit guys .... just to let you all no that the qe2 bridge seems to have fairly long delays s been over it twice over the last few days and even early there are queue s back to lakeside turn off so you may need to allow extra time to meet if you have plans to do so or just :burnout:

Doesn't look like I'm going to make this. Got a water leak from another 2 split Samco hoses after replacing 2 split one's last week. Not impressed by them as only done 4000 miles in 2-3 years they have been on. Good old lotus originals will be going back on!

A note on the TLF website:

Just as a reminder to everyone, please check the Attendance list and make sure you know what number you are on the list, I'll be checking people in at the gate and it'll save a lot of time and queueing if you've got your number to hand

How ironic. My radiator (replaced a couple of years ago) has been seeping lately but its just got a lot more serious so I won't be there with trust DMM to sort Trevor out. Bit ironic as I was running the engine up to test my Bluetooth Elanscan interface and temperature sensor/gauge-so-normal-is-at-half-scale-instead-of-1/8-scale interface. ARSE!
