Iain,

If it a way to get there, then I'll happily grab a lift from you - we can even try and blag a decent parking spot with 2 cripples and a child in the crew

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

Well I had this idea that last time we met at Costa in Weston, we had a coffee so I checked back on previous threads and we met about the same time as suggested, so I checked the costa web site this morning on my coffee break and they apparently open at 8.30 am.
So who's up for meeting at Costa for say 9.10 ish them on to Clevedon to pick up Ronnie and anyone else in that area then progress upto Wraxall.
By the way the caring for cars web site are ponting out not to arrive before 10.00 am.

What do others think?

Paul,

Not wishing to get into an arguement (we go back waaaaay too long for that :D ) .... I remember getting a drink on previous years too - but the website I looked at gives a 1000 hrs opening on a Sunday....

However, I am having to fit in entirely with the whims and wishes of Iain, as he is chaufeurring me for the day.

I quite agree Dave no point falling out over spilt coffee :D :D
But which ever way I'm really glad you are able to be going and hope you well on the mend.

Coffee or not is anyone up for starting from that venue anyway?

Don't worry Paul, I should be there for a coffee (assuming I get my radiator drain hole plugged and car back together) and I'll fall out with him for not even acknowledging my offer of a lift..... or was it the Rolf Harris connotations that put him off?

What offer of a lift????? :smt102 - Iain is the only kind offer I've had!

(and if you want a decent radiator drain plug, I'll let you have one - either a short M12 Stainless bolt with a rubber 'O' ring, or i might have a spare proper one (which is only a black painted M12 bolt anyway)..... can post it up if you need it before the day.

Dave, I will give you a call, message to confirm collection time Sunday.

Looking forward to providing mobility service for the day

Cheers

I wont make the WSM meet as I live only 10 mins away from the CWC show ,, and I struggle to get my son out of bed in the mornings :asleep:

However I will be meeting some of the Pistonheads guys at Gordano service station just up the M5 at Junt 19 and then hitting the twisty route up Portbury lane, this should be fun, if any of you guys would like to take a detour from Clevedon to Gordano that would be great or if not I will see you all there :D

Steve,

Sounds like a plan - but i'm in the hands of my driver, and am being collected at 0900 to go for a coffee at Costa and meet whoever else is there - not sure if we'll go via J20 to the site (and collect Ronnee in C'don), or up to J19 - not my decision!!!!

Hopefully you can make Gordano as it's looking like most convoys will converge there for a large convoy into show , and I hope Ronnee is up and running now

Im not up and running yet :(

But im not saying my lotus has defeated me, its not over until about 10am tomorrow!

Looks like the alarm is knackered and its so well built into the car the chap needs to remove everything to get to it and he cant do it until next week. Good thing is he told us exactly what he was going to do and how it was wired, so the other half is going to have a crack at it later, i just need to de-immobilise it and then im good to go!!!!

Anybody that could do this feel free to 'pop' over!!

I'll be somewhere. It's 35 mins to Costa and 15 mins back to the services - the PH proposed road is one I use on the way to the airport and is half decent so I'm tempted to head back to the services.
