One pair of M100 rear lights with grooved plastic covers in Maple Leaf Garage Daventry.

Unfortunately they were attached to an Alpine A610, "L" plate for sale at £19950. Cursory glance it seemed in good condition.

It's on ebay and belongs to the owner of the garage, who is selling it. Full history and genuinely in good nick. Also double the price of any other A610s for sale!

Pacific Blue M100 travelling along Sealand Road into Chester at 12.30 today. I've seen another blue one in Chester but I think that was sold recently so suprised to see this one today.

Yesterday there was a car show called Autokarna at Wollaton Park in Nottingham.
Wollaton Park is now better known around the world as "Wayne Towers", after it was used as that location in "The Dark Knight Rises".
Anyway because it was such a beautiful day the event was extremely well attended, with between 500 and 700 cars.
In fact it was over-attended by about 100 cars so being as I was unable to pre-book (due to not being sure I'd be road-legal and ready in time), I was unable to get my new Elan in on the day.
That was a particular shame because there was still space available, and unfortunately the Lotus presence there was tiny - I only saw a couple of Esprits and a single Elan.
However that Elan was a pretty special one - it was Andrew Ennis's old Azure Blue S2.
He used to absolutely lavish attention on that car and it won concourse competitions and cups.
It has an ESM V5 Switcher and a set of Simon Kuching's roll-hoops and matching faired rear deck.
It turns out that the new owner only lives about 5 miles from me, and didn't know there was a regular Lotus meet literally just round the corner from him at his local pub!
I gave him a demo of fault-code diagnosis and a few pointers. His face was a bit of a picture when this random bloke just stepped up out of the crowd and started showing him all sorts of things that he didn't realise his car was capable of!!!
Here's hoping he gets online in here a bit more often and starts enjoying his car more...

Pacific Blue Elan heading towards Liverpool on a bridge over the M6 about a mile north of J23 at about 1930 yesterday.
I think it was an Elan anyway. I only caught a glimpse of the top half of the body & the roof.

This morning on my way to work (07:50ish) , A638 Ossett / Jnc40 M1 sat in the traffic was a lovely looking metallic green S2. Didn't get any of the plate but I don't think there'll be many M100's in my area fitting this description in Wakefield / Dewsbury.

Sorry if I startled you, I was filtering through the jam on my motorbike and with his hood being down I shouted "Nice!" as I passed. If it hadn't been for the traffic this morning I'd have probably been in mine.
