I think it DID, but it was changed to a personal plate with JPS in it.
There were a lot of BRA's.

Where did you get #467 from Dave as that number is listed as Azure and this one is previously unknown?
If anyone is interested, grab the LE number and mileage for Gazza.

If you blow up the last photo you can read the no. on the dash board, but it is
476 not 467.
Mileage 97977 Reg N11OTA
Hope this helps and pop it on the S2 register

Wasn't that the same car that sold on ebay last July for £2,500, seller was sp1_rossi and caused quite a storm on the Ebay thread, owner was Stevieshag which begs the question how this owner has had the car for the last 10 years

Looks like he never sold it, and (hopefully) just sorted out the faults detailed in the original ad.
From previous meets I would say 10 years is probably about right.
I've not seen it since the interior was done, but I actually quite like it, and there are a lot of nice options detailed.
Someone could do really well there and get a very nice car.

Neils right (see what I did there?

)....
...Stevie did pipe up on here last year that it didn't get sold....
...there was a lot of 'discussion' on the car at that time, and I'm fairly sure that it comes down to a Marmite opinion on the interior.
That said. knowing the car and the owner, if you can live with the interior (or are prepared to change it), this could well be a good way into elan ownership - lots of nice things done by a man who knows how to do them properly (and makes a cracking cup of tea!).

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

Good spot - is that how you read the mileage?

sp1_rossi IS Stevieshag so I guess he didn't sell Kermit. I picked a couple of seats up off him (which ended up in Colorado) a few years ago and he is a thoroughly decent bloke. The interior may not be to everyones taste, but it has been done well and actually looks better in the flesh so don't let that put you off if you're interested.

Hadn't noticed that it was the same seller

, looking at the interior the dash looks to have been very well done, not sure I could live with the yellow though (strange considering I have a Yellow car). From the other posts it does seem like the car is well sorted, strange it only got to £2.5k last time around.
If I could get my Lad insured on one of these as a daily driver I might be interested ...........but then I'd have to get that one past She wh must be obeyed

What is the story here? On an N plate but #476? I have seen others for sale on an M plate that are numbered in the 700's so this is a bit odd?? Anyone here in the Peterborough area?

Whoops, silly me, the M reg ones I've seen were on a private plate!
Spoke to the dealer (as usual not a lot of info) who tells me that he hasn't got the service book but the car has all the service records and mot's! Who looses the service book/owners manual but keeps the paperwork??? Interesting that there appears to be a handbook shoved in the drivers door pocket!!!
Anyone on here know anything about this car #476?

I get the impression that the numbering is a bit random. Mine's a '95 (I think) M reg and it's number 513...

Hi Paul, Probably the answer is that they were manufactured and given their 'Limited Edition' number as they came off the production line in various colours and trim levels, then sent out to the dealers to sell and register for the first time. Hence the reason why a green one with #476 on an N plate is earlier in the LE series than yours?
Someone will be along shortly to correct my limited knowledge?

Yeah, that makes sense. I don't suppose they were all that worried about sequential sales on just 800 cars. These days, I imagine a more savvy (or paranoid) sales team would avoid numbering any car 13!

Indeed , a 'green 13' one would be a challenge to sell given the old prejudice against buying a green car born out of the racing colours of early British sports cars throwing themselves into the scenery!!
I wonder if LE#13 was manufactured in green paintwork, but I guess Bugatti wouldn't be that silly, would they??
