Turbo coolant supply

So the saga goes on.

Mechanic rang today car all back together, the turbo had been off to engineers in Swindon for helicoiling and returned) and running (to quote) 'better than he'd ever heard it' when he noticed a small leak so tightening the Banjo it suddenly went loose and lo and behold we're back where we started. The turbos got to come off again and back off to the Engineers on Monday.

I am becoming cheesed off with this motor!!!

Been up to see what's going on today, it seems that the Engineering firm only Helicoiled one of the two water ports, I despair! Going back to them tomorrow to have the other one done! The car is promised for return on Wednesday (along with a change in the weather!)

I can't help but worry that the inevitable row between the Mechanic and the Engineer will result in their passing additional costs on to me, similarly I'm expecting a battle on the several hours of labour in the abortive fitment and removal!

Don't talk to me about lofts.

Yesterday I managed to get Dad's old desk apart and rebuilt it in the loft right under the Velux window to give these tired old eyes as much natural light as possible in an attempt to make soldering a bit easier. I then went to lift some drawers off the floor, stood up and twatted my head on the edge of the window recess. I've ended up with a lump the size of half a golf ball on my forehead, feeling quite nauseous and an arseburger of a headache.

Better remind me in a couple of days to look in the loft for whatever I was looking in the loft for before I hit my head.....

The good news is that I found them.

The even better news is that I haven't put them up for sale on fleabay.
