I dropped Paul an email at the weekend but haven't heard yet. Keeping my car sufficiently in one piece to put back together and bring down, but did offer him the option of signing me up later on in case there were better cars or more established members wanting to come along for the weekend.

I asked for mine a week ago but haven't seen them yet, but don't panic as Paul sorted some extra tickets for us last year at very short notice.

Grab the tickets Ian, people have had enough warning and it is the holiday season so a lot can't make it.

I was heartened last year by the relaxed nature of this event. I have avoided contact in the past.

Go! Establish yourself. people like to see cars in all conditions.... Besides, it is your home turf, you have no excuse not to!

I have also contacted Paul - Does that mean I am on the LEC stand? What does that involve? Should I add my name to the list?

If you've contacted him I'm sure your on the list. All it involves is making your car nice and shiny, poping It on Show for the public and joining in on a parade lap .

The description of being on the LEC Stand is quite off putting. I think what it actually means is .... Relaxed company, like minded folk, complementary entry tickets for driver and passenger, reserved prime position parking, priority position for the parade lap... etc So if you are hesitating sign-up quick or you will miss the opportunity!
