Nothing arranged yet Derek, will be at ponds, may meet at the hen and chicken like last time. Sorry to sound vague!
Could the 'Hokey-Cokey' actually be what it's all about?

Sorry but can't make it tonight
Returned from our eldest sons wedding to a mountain of work, health and elderly relative issues to contend with so car things have had to take a back seat for a while.
Hope all are well and will meet up soon

So, a small turnout last night..
Derek*
Chris
Jim
Pleased that Derek got his silver Elan through the MOT (rear brake advisory ya de ya da)
After some discussion the executive committee decided that with immediate effect the meeting, from November onwards, be held on the second Wednesday of each month. This was in accordance with club rules (It's a benign dictatorship by the way)
This will avoid a clash with the pubs internationally-themed evenings. We can have our 'old' table back and there will be space in the car park.
Keep them shiny side up.
Jim
Chris, thanks for giving me the supercharger whine as you stormed past - brilliant..
(I see I missed the Pistachio Elan - dang!)

Sorry I could not make it - Elan is off the road and I was feeling a bit off as well.
Sent the rear shocks to Avo for a rebuild - coming back today - £72 for two rebuilds, vat and postage - good value and very very quick turnaround.
However, found this when I took the nearside one off

Also one of the headlight motors has gone, but i have a kit for the rebuild.

Just a quick reminder to all - next meet is NOT this Wednesday but the following. I have notified the H&C that this new meet date will be for the foreseeable future.

Sorry Chris yes the surrounding "tower" was solid so able to weld a plate in - car is transformed from a slightly jittery/nervous ride to planted at the rear now
