I fitted the Cybox exhaust last year and was astonished with the extra power it provided, but don't particularly like the extra noise it makes. When you fit the extra box do you notice any loss of power?

I fitted the secondary silencer at the weekend and I'm pleasantly surprised by the reduction in noise (only while parked up as the car is currently off the road). I had to cut the bracket that Alan queried, off, but there is a fair amount of support for the system with three exhaust hangers all reasonably close, I hope it will not be a problem.

Yep i had to cut my bracket off to i think it will be ok its well supported with the two fixings but if you want you can always weld a new bracket on but i dont think it needs one.

Many thanks to John and PNM for resolving the Cybox cockup.

Could someone post a picture of the bracket that needs removing or the installation after removing it?

One thing I did before fitting the Peco was to get some Mikalor Supra 59-63mm clamps instead of the zinc plated ones provided. I've ordered another fully stainless W4 (as opposed to the cheaper W2 which have zinc plated steel fasteners) for about £5.

Its the bracket that is welded onto the rear of the back box and onto the pipe where it enters the box, just remove it and then line up the new box and then cut the pipe the clamp is close to the rear of the back box so the bracket is in the way.

Do you have a sketch of where this second silencer would be positioned?

Have you been down the coffeeshop again HJ? The links to the pictures are in post #72 and a day later you were tempted to buy in post #75 - I thought it was only me who forgot what I did 3 months ago!

Seeing as it's you.... here you are: Picture #1, picture #2 and picture #3.

PS Henri e-mailed to say he's sorted.

PPS You wouldn't happen to know anyone who has a recipe for Pane Guttiau would you?
