Unfortunately, I have had a change of circumstance, and whilst you're all enjoying your meal, I'll be somewhere on an aeroplane between UAE and Manchester  ..... Originally, I should have landed an Manchester just after lunch on the Thursday, which would have worked well for me, but the ticket arrived today with different flights.... Not only anoying, but getting back to UK at 0615 doesn't bode well for a relaxing trip home - and it isn't even a direct flight - I have to wait 2 hours in Doha (might have to change the companies I Consult for if they don't do better!)

John, due to the change in circumstances, do you want me to post the dial faces to you??

We tend to be a small trio and sadly, of the three of us, one is overseas earning money, the other is overseas spending money and then there is me, a token bollock, attending with a view to raising the elegance of the occasion. 8)

I was waiting until the 11th hour to book as I might have a court case to do on the Friday in Chelmsford and as it happens ............ I've got two cases so I'm having to stay in Kent on Thursday night so I can't get there (again).

Apologies to all but I'm sure you'll have a good time.

Merry Christmas to all.

Thanks John. Sorry you can't make it.

Looks like the bollecks invading takeover has stumbled and the troops, bar one, have got lost en route.

Any other takers for tomorrow?

Great get together, great food and great company marred only by the lack of the invaders from SW, bar Pete the honorary Midlander.

Good to see you all and Happy Xmas to you all....and everyone else for that matter.

Merry Xmas

I had a great evening, the venue is really very nice and the food was, I thought, very tasty. The crackers were a bit 'lightweight' though :) Nice to see you all.

John, thanks for organising it, perhaps, like acorns it will grow in popularity year on year and in a few years we shall fill the restaurant! It was nice to meet your good lady and Tuga and his dad.

Nice to meet you all and for those who couldn't make it, Happy Christmas. Normal service will be resumed in the New Year :D

Another joy of a meeting, nice to meet you Pete,

Ill be looking forward to the next one. i been wondering what you guys think of changing the date of the next one to be lunchtime on the weekend, at least it would allow some daylight.

John,
Your other half wanted to know the medicine my dad was talking about, its called "naltrexone"

My dad uses different sources, this will be useless unless you know the language, but here they go.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZtMezIlSYR8
http://articulos.mercola.com/sitios/articulos/archivo/2014/09/30/un-medicamento-que-le-ayuda-a-su-cuerpo.aspx

This drug reputation all depends on how much you believe in conspiracy theories. if you believe the big drug companies are in fact stopping the medicine field in order to maintain their profits, then this drug seems like another holy grail.

The meetings are "always" held on the second Thursday of the month, however Martin expressed a concern as it always clashes with his cricket club meetings (mine are on a Monday!)

So it is proposed to change the regular meet to the 3RD Thursday each month. January would therefore be the 15TH. Usual C&H venue.

Provided no-one objects see you all then......incl any bollecks that care to drift north a bit again.

Hope you all had a Merry Xmas (or Christmas) and I wish you all a Happy New Year.
