Excellent, really looking forward to this - I'll amend the top post and arrive as close to 12:30 as I can on Saturday. :)

Thanks everyone for coming along, great to see you and have a chat.

I now understand that I need to buy myself a quickshift cable set after having a quick try of Trevor's - a marked improvement. So that will have to wait for the summer. :)

Given I took some photos, let's see if they will upload OK without me doing anything to them...

Todays Kent meeting with Ian, Tim, Trevor, Jon and Dave (our Essex friend)

Had a good chat and general look around everyones car to see what they had which someone didn't.
Ian likes the 'short shift conversion', me thinks he might be writing a letter to Santa :)

Good to meet you all have a Great Christmas and New Year

Good to see you all :D nice day for a run. I even got back over the border with no traffic. Definitely up for a regular meet up in the new year.

It was nice to see you all again, we'll have to have another meet in the new year. I now also want a short shift kit thanks to you Trevor!

The hat is not quite suitable for Lotus driving... The back looks OK, but the front has a great big VXR logo across it - I got it free when visiting Brands Hatch a few years ago as Vauxhall was at that time pulling out of the BTCC.

I wanted to take a photo of Tim, Dave and Trevor's cars ahead but the lights changed too late so they went through. I half expected a 'spotted' post describing 5 Elans line astern on the A25 through Breasted, think we got a few surprised looks.

Maybe next time. When you're free and the weather looks OK, I'd be up for another meet. :)

I believe we (today's group) are all up for meeting up on a regular / semi-regular basis, I know I am. I suggested we might rotate the venue around as well if similar places are known nearer to some of the others, I don't mind having a bit of a drive to get there.

Enjoyed the short procession through the local villages before we split up. I should have joined you guys on the M25 for a junction as that would have been a quicker route home, but instead I opted to check on my rented garage to see that my other toy car is still OK, which it was.

I'll try and come along to the next one - just down the hill really from me but was busy. You need a bright Blue S2 to add to that mix.

I know Trevor expressed an interest in the wheel nut covers I have on my car, so here is an eBay link to the ones I brought,

www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Set-20-Car-Caps-Bolts-Alloy-Wheel-for-Nuts-Covers-19mm-Chrome-Silver-Plastic-/281305112546?ssPageName=ADME:L:OU:GB:3160

These are for 19mm wheel nuts but I have a suspicion the S2's are 17mm but don't quote me on it.

Ian, do you by any chance have one of those type 99 intermittent relays hiding in you garage you could spare? PM me if you can help, thanks.

Happy New Year.
