Whoever wants to drive or co-drive the Sh4rk, it will be my pleasure, after all it would be a shame to drive 4500km to lock the car down dont you think? You are first in line buddy! ;D

2. I added a immage collection instead. I think pictures are better than words but anyways will swap to data if you think its better.

3. Thats what the Sh4rk Project was made for! Seriously, because I dont have the proper technical vocabulary and knowledge I shall ask the DSP Chief Engineer to write down all of what he did for the Sh4rk.

4. Yeap! I have all sorts of Dynograms, I shall scan them tommorow and post them. Unfortunatelly I havent got a video of it and I am actually pissed off for that because the experience was unique! I will videorecord the Dyno that will take place in 2 weeks time with the NOS active!!!
The car did dyno 237hp 1 year ago but with the use of ELF racing fuel, without it it dynoed 220hp at 1.0bar.

The recent mods include many things that were made in order to increase stability and road handling despite the increase of power which would normally make the car understeer at turns or lose the power on dumb spinning.

So shocks, springs, tyres, quaife were part of the costs but didnt increase the hp. But what would such an increase in hp be usefull of, without these upgrades? In fact now that I ve tested the Sh4rk, not only is not dumb spinning at all, but his road handling ability and grip is increased, believe it or not.

Thats why I say NO. i cant calculate what you ask. Not a secrecy thing, I am willing to name all costs one by one, but not associate them as cost/hp it will not be fare judgement.

Thank you all for your kind words and for sharing through this thread all my worries and excitement. My promise is to share the Sh4rk joy with all who want to, at Donington.

A very big THANK YOU to the DSP Lotus at Athens Greece, who made my dream come true. All of the guys treated Sh4rk like if it was their own car and especially Greg the Chief Engineer and Owner of DSP dedicated his valuable personal time on the Sh4rk Project. Almost 90% of the hand made job has been done by Greg himself. The labour work done on Sh4rk is not possible to be valued with money, no matter what they would ask me for it, I would have paid it questionless, and in the end they asked for the less possible.

Those are the ppl who made my dream come true! they are not just the Crew of the Sh4rk Project, they are most of all my friends.
Top left Greg, Owner of DSP and Chief Engineer
Bottom Left, Stavros Mechanical Engineer
Top right Costas, (not me ;D) Co-Owner of DSP
Bottom right Billy, Assistant Engineer
and also
Victor who is not in the picture, my NOS Specialist.
Image

DSP LOTUS can be reached at
www.dsp-cars.gr

Only once on a wide fast turn there was a small water lake and instantly I substeered, I lifted my foot from accelaration, stepped on at once gently and the car turned exactly on the line that the steering wheel was aiming at (Quaife Magic!) like there was no water on the street.

Whilst i would never advocate lifting off on a power bend, the Quaife is designed specifically to help in these weather conditions.

Really am itching to get my car back now...

The Dynograms

We did 2 dyno runs. First one was at 1.18 Bar and the Sh4rk produced 275.3hp without the use of NOS because we wanted first to adjust in perfect status the proper fueling, and it was wise because it appeared that we did have to adjust some fueling minor details, which we did and on the second run which was set at 1.05 Bar the Sh4rk produced 265.1 Hp with a perfect dynogram.

The Dyno with the use of NOS (50hp Shot which will produce us the 325hp in total) will take place in 2 weeks time because my Nitro specialist is on a businees trip to the USA and he has to be present at NOS Dynos.

At the moment at my hands I have the first Dynogram before the final adjustments, as soon as I get in my hands the second one I shall post it as well.Enjoy!

The graphs are very impressive Costas, and if my maths is correct you are pushing out 240ft/lb's of torque at 275bhp, and its the torque that makes it feel fast.

[smiley=thumb.gif]

Today we tested high speed accelerations. Sh4rk accelerates from 220km/h to 265km/h (which is 166mph) at the same rate as from 120km/h to 165km/h! The difference in accelation-power between 0.7bar to 1.1bar turbo pressure is chaotic. We did make todays tests at 0.7bar!!! I wonder what it would be like at 1.1!!!

Top Speed on speedometer we read countless times was 265km/h, the 5th gear's 7200rpm cutoff interupts at that point. With a longer 5th gear I am most confident that Sh4rk could easily go over 280.

I got some small videos of the speedometer from todays top speed accelarations, I shall email them to SY to upload them, thank you in advance SY.

At the end of March (after Donington) and after the final mods will be installed (yes yes yes more to come!) Sh4rk is going to be tested by POWER Magazine with all short of timed runs with V-Box III.

PS. Future mods are to ensure even more reliability and not to increase perfomance, such as competition pistons & conrods etc.
