TOSSPOT

Too cold/wet for me (and I've got my washer bottle and pump in the study) so I'm out.

But there are so many strewn around the house, so which one? Decision, decisions. My Golf? Or Sarah's Polo? Or Peter's Golf? Or my mother's Micra? And whichever one I pick, I'll have to move one of the others, so why didn't I choose that one in the first place?

I should be going, cannot be 100% sure because got something planned for tomorrow and got no idea what state my bank account will be after going to a special restaurant to impress a certain lady.

Thanks for organising it Martin - another great meal with good company.

Nice to meet Joao and Peter in person, and see John again (especially as he gave me a cheque!).

It would be remiss of me NOT to point out that FredJohn is the person who keeps this on track; I just started the ball rolling.....

(But then, he does have more free time than me.... )

Was good to see everyone; I had a good time after a rubbish day at work, so thank you all for that.

John,

As I was born closer to the venue than you live, I feel I was much more of a 'local' than you are!

(Despite which, i only went to get the money you owed me due to me being a phillanthropic BOLLECK - I'm not much of an ecconomist though - I spend £30 on fuel to pick up a £25 cheque, and bought a round of drinks - Luckilly Joao felt sorry for me and bought my burger in lieu of the heater valve I had sent him - did someone call me phillanthropic????)

On a serious note, it WAS a very good evening :gathering:
