....but adding in, that if you want to order a 'small' order, then it well may slip in under the Duty/VAT threasholds, wheras a bigger one won't - it's really just swings and roundabouts for the money, but the convenience for other members is worth its weight in gold.

Thanks allike for your interest in will run some different permutations on rock auto to see which provides the lowest postage costs and if we can try to do anything that may mean we don't get stung for import duty. Also given the amount of participants I won't be able to afford all the costs upfront so I'm open to suggestions on how to proceed. I understand that people who have been on here and while remember someone who did a flit with members money so let me know.

Just let me know when and how you would like some funds, I know some have been badly burnt with group buys in the past but we are not being asked to contribute to a manufactured part at some point in the future, this is a true group buy of existing parts for which I, for one, am very greatful
When you get prices for the carriage worked out put a bit on for the LEC kitty and let us know
