He had to mention it was owned by a Lord because, though you can't see it, the interior is made of crimson silk velvet and trimmed with white ermine with rows of black sealskin spots. The glovebox is probably stuffed full of unpaid parking tickets as well. :-D

Hi, Has anyone any knowledge of the green coloured 1991 SE Turbo currently for sale on E Bay. 70k miles located in Mid Glamorgan. EBay item number 251909299288. Although it pains me to buy using this method, out of sheer frustration having been searching for almost 8 months now for a good Elan, I am thinking of bidding on this one. Cheers. Its worth getting some additional information from the seller so you can look up its complete MOT history via this link and see past failures/advisorys:

It looks from the pics like it would benefit from a good paint restoration as it looks like a lot of swirl marks and dullish paint in some areas; but thats just me being fussy. A couple of days claying and power polishing would probably make it look immaculate.

Nicky's right - it certainly is interesting.
That car-bra's a bit "Marmite", but on the whole it looks as though it's a very well-kept example.
