I can see from the background to the Élan picture that Bo'ness just keeps getting lovelier.
Why is Rambo not in the picture?

Keep up at the back John. You have been SORN'd far too long. I'll get you up to speed at the w/e ;-)

You too Scott - you only know half the story. You must have been spending too much time on the Mazda forum

All will be revealed on Sat, if you play your cards right

Lasgne ok for you boys, some Rioja then off to sample the delights of the Innerleithen nightlife. If we're very unlucky there may be a hen night. Some of the girls round here have better moustaches than the men and are built like front row props

What are your respective ETA's ?

Early start on Sun so nae bacon butties - just the healthy Borders breakfast of cereals, toast, orange and Rambo's special crapuccino. It'll take about an hour to drive there so we should aim for the back of 9 in Duns We don't want to get railroaded into the High School by an Elf and Safety jobsworth and find that the roads in and out are blocked off. Looks like they're expecting about 2-3000 so the population of Duns will double overnight

John - at vast expense I have got us into the inner sanctum on Sunday, the big day  I will be on main display and you will be 1st reserve parking opposite in the Housing Association car park and very likely to join the main throng when someone backs out. Bring your camera. I have printed out the permit for you so remind me to give it to you before we set off on the Sunday

If you turn up on Sat its not restricted so 1st come, 1st served. Here are the relevant details from the e-mail.....

Welcome to Jim Clark Weekend 2015 at Duns.

Many thanks for allowing your car to go on display for the event.

Entry into the display area, on both days, shall be from the west via Langtongate and A6105.
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@55.77726 ... 479666,17z

SATURDAY
Saturday parking is open to come and go as you please on a first come, first served basis, with no reserved parking.

SUNDAY
Sunday parking is by permit only and in numerical order (1 - 34) as per the attached diagram.
Please display your permit at all times. You will not be allowed to enter without it.

Aim to arrive to come into the parking area for 0900-0930.

If you do not have a number on your pass, please park your car in the Borders Housing Association Car Park.
We may call upon you if there are non-arrivals to park in the main straight.

Please do not leave the arena until all cars are fully in order as we may need to adjust to accommodate.

Once the event starts there should be no movement until the end.

Mark,
I am honoured. I had better bring a sponge to wash the car. I hadn't realised it was such a big event. Last time we all just parked outside the museum and across the road. It sounds like it's more special this time.

Lasagne sounds great, but I might have to bring something Italian instead of Rioja. My eta is say 5 to 6 pm, but I could make it as early as 4 if needed.

An early start on Sunday sounds in order.

John

P.S. Geoff - eh?

I'm flexible time wise on Sat. If I leave home 4.00 and get to yours 5.30 is that OK, when do you plan to serve dinner ?
Lasagne and Rioja is ideal.
Seeing as I'm not allowed into the VIP parking area on Sunday I might as well get trapped under a farmers daughter on Saturday night :bananasex:
More likely :asleep:
Maybe I can drive Rambo on Sunday and we have a threesome :gathering:
