Goodwood Revival Sept 2015

Postby Rambo » Wed 17.12.2014, 19:29

I am heading down to the Revival in Sept 2015 next year. Tickets are very expensive  and I need x4 w/e passes. Does anyone in LEC land have a discount code ? I tried to register with GRRC (Goodwood Road and Racing Club) but there is a very long waitinglist and this appears to be the only means of obtaining a discount.

Thanks in advance

IIRC there were codes in the Times or Telegraph.......about June/July
but as I decided a couple of years ago it was way too expensive Ive not looked since

Put it this way, if you buy a general admission ticket with roving grandstand tickets it's 6 times more expensive than Silverstone    !!

But then the racing is 6 times more exciting IMO and you are at least close up and personal to the track. Great variety of cars, great entertainment, Airshow thrown in for good measure....what's not to like

I've been now for the past five years and would be going again this year but have a road trip to Lake Como which clashes with this. We usually buy general admission tickets for all three days but buy the Lavant Grandstand tickets for the Sunday only, Friday and Saturday you can wander about the track and get some great positions against fencing and see the racing from many places.

Sadly no, I was in Goodwood last Friday, for the Festival of Speed.
I would have preferred the revival, but there's no way I can justify this as a business trip :(
Speed has never killed anyone, suddenly becoming stationary… that’s what gets you.
