Very pleasant evening. Good company and even the weather was kind - though it could have been a bit warmer, particularly when previous day was the 'hottest July day on record'.
Are we doing it again in the first week of August? How do your shifts fit in with Wednesday 5th or Thursday 6th Aug' Steve?
... and can we get the "Tues 14/10" out of the title or shall we start a new thread?

OK. Shall we have '1st Wednesday in the month' in the title and go for 5th August? - and it can wander to the Thursday if the majority can't make a particular Wednesday, but generally aim at 1st Wednesday....

Sounds good to me, I don't know how the date came to be in the title, 'cause when I first set up the the title suggesting the change there was no date, only the venue. The date only appeared about half way down page 4. I suggest leaving it without any particular day and arrange to suit max. number of people.

I won't be there for this one I'm afraid. I'm taking the Elan on a brief tour of South and Mid Wales, including a quick photo op at The Slaughtered Lamb. Longest trip so far, looking forward to seeing how she gets on.
Be there for the next one though.

It's rainy here at moment, doesn't seem to be many attending, arrange another date or take a chance tonight? Could only be 2 people.
I think I'll go for the former.

I was thinking it might be risky in my Elan tonight anyway - it's become a 'Lego Elan' this afternoon ... noticed something starts dribbling when it gets hot and swollen - (A100E6361S Heater return by-pass hose just under the thermostat housing)
That's seen better days as it drips with no pressure and dribbles out when engine warms & pressure comes up. Investigated a Samco complete set but they seem to be on 4 to 6 weeks delivery so have ordered just A100E6361S from SJS. Could still drive it with pressure cap unscrewed and carrying 5l of coolant to top up as required but that's usually a 'get you home trick'. Bit foolish to set out with it like that as the hose is porous just past the clip so may split at anytime and dump everything!
