Okay, it's a Kia Vigato/Roadster rather than a pukka Elan, but even so I'm fairly sure it hasn't got a sunroof....

Geoff is this the car for you? LHD, ex Spain (or Latvia!) and you could drive it all the way back to Spain................then tell us all how it compares to the real thing.

(And before you ask, I already have an S2 which is taking all my time and most of the household budget

Dave
Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it
...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

Looks like a good honest standard car with light mileage and recent cam belt. Not one I have seen or know about. I would offer to go and have a look, but I'm abroad at the moment.

not a real barn find.
Why does a "J" reg have an early type rear number plate cover? I thought they were replaced in early '91 ("J" reg is late '91 to '92. Maybe it had been hanging around at a dealers.

I thought later cars had perforated leather seats or plaid cloth.
