Must be about time they got Jagger and his cronies. That would be worth seeing.

No plan for a stand. You have to pay for those, anyway.
However, for the past few years some LECers have stayed at Litchlake campsite across the way and enjoyed a few beers and glasses of red biddy. Oh, and watched the races. There's often a good concert on - Status Quo this year plus others.
TBH I'm surprised more LEcers don't come, but each to his own,
Jim

Me too Jim. I've thought that for the last 6 years
Can't understand the apathy amongst other LEC'rs. Best value motor racing/social event of the year

Its a great event but as you both know, I'm planning le mans classic the fortnight before so can't do both. I've seen Adam & the Ants, the Quo, Mike & Mechanics on previous visits so well worth it .

I just don't like Silverstone. It's flat and boring for spectators and nothing like as good as Brands. I went to one of the first "classics" in about 1992 and was not tempted to return. And that's when I lived in London, so chances of me driving from Aberdeen are nil.

Absolutely agree always go myself but never stayed, a great event, top notch racing...........although for the best racing of the year the FIA World Endurance Championship in April is the best

Should be going again as usual and awaiting club BOGOFF deal
Men are like a fine wine.
They begin as grapes, and it's up to women to stomp the sh * t out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.

Will be there with LDC. Great event, excellent racing brilliant club displays. Yes Silverstone is flat but the place is stuffed with so much to see, hear and experience non of that matters. Unmissable!

unfortunately this Man in Black will miss the Stranglers. Mind you I haven't seen them since Hugh Cornwall left and that was 1989. I remember seeing them at the old Apollo Theatre at the top of Renfield St in Glasgow. Many a riot at that venue. Still got my bikers jacket with the stranglers painted a cross the shoulders. it fitted me when i was 16 but not anymore.
